Marcel E. "Bill" Murrell

In 1959, Marcel E. "Bill" Murrell was the senior accountant at a company audited by Pile & Co. Mr. Pile, who was approaching retirement age, had grown fond of Marcel Sr.’s work ethic and offered him the opportunity to purchase Pile & Co. Marcel Sr. did not hesitate to secure the opportunity. In January 1960,

M. E. Murrell & Co. opened its doors to service its clients.

Marcel E. Murrell Jr.

From the tender age of 8 years old, Marcel Jr. expressed the desire to be an accountant, believing it to be much like his favourite subject, mathematics.

Marcel Jr. joined M. E. Murrell & Co. Chartered Accountants in 1983 as an audit junior and rose through the ranks, becoming a Partner in 2020. He currently carries the baton as the Senior Partner.
